We at Landscape Avenue are constantly searching to improve our responsibility in sourced materials and practices to ensure all our work is as environmentally friendly as possible.
It is the policy of Landscape Avenue to ensure that the company operates in a way that will lesson or eliminate any adverse effect on the environment.
Landscape Avenue is commitment to continual improvement of environmental performance, with a view to reducing environmental impacts to levels not exceeding those corresponding to economically viable applications of best available practices and techniques.
Our policy objective is to:
- Assess all new policies introduced into company procedures for their effects on the environment and will encourage employees to reduce their negative impact on the environment.
- Where possible and practicable, to minimize the use of energy in its buildings, vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure that the drivers of all Company vehicles will adopt a sensible driving style to reduce noise levels and omissions.
- Work towards a reduction in environmental pollution in our operational areas.
- Ensure that a strict policy is adhered to in the purchase of materials to meet operational needs and to minimize the production of waste.
- Use material from sustainable sources.
- Use registered waste disposal companies for removal of all waste streams.
- Reduce the use of any chemicals which have a detrimental effect on the ozone layer and environment.
- Consider all environmental impacts of new vehicles, equipment and work undertaken.
- Wherever possible, use timber products made from forests certified by FSC.
- Comply with all relevant environmental legislation.
- Ensure that the condition of buildings, facilities and equipment available are operating in accordance with our environmental policy.
